Some teeth may not erupt into the mouth during normal growth and development.  This is called an impacted tooth.  If the impaction is caused by crowding of teeth, your orthodontist may be able to correct the problem with conventional braces.  Sometimes, the assistance of a periodontist is necessary to erupt the impacted tooth into the correct position.  Dr. Haddad & Dr. Handsman will work closely with your orthodontist and general dentist to ensure you have a positive experience and the most successful treatment outcome.
